Project Background
StreamCast Media handled the full media production lifecycle, including:
Field Videography & Photography: We traveled across various coffee-producing regions to capture authentic stories from farmers, processors, and cooperatives, using cinematic visuals and drone footage to bring the landscape and effort to life.
Live Event Coverage: Provided real-time streaming and AV solutions during high-level government engagements and policy briefings on the coffee roadmap, ensuring nationwide access and digital transparency.
Post-Production & Editing: Delivered polished, high-quality content suitable for national broadcast, social media, and international presentations, complete with motion graphics and professional sound design.
In collaboration with the Office of the President, StreamCast Media was tasked with documenting and showcasing Uganda’s strategic initiatives in the coffee sector — a key pillar in the country’s economic transformation agenda. The project aimed to highlight government interventions, success stories, and the broader impact of coffee production on livelihoods and national exports.

Key Features Delivered
We executed a comprehensive media production rollout covering five key areas:
1. On-Ground Production (Fieldwork)
Conducted multi-day shoots across major coffee-producing districts including Bushenyi, Kasese, Luwero, and Mbale.
Captured interviews with farmers, exporters, cooperatives, and district officials.
Used 4K cameras, drones, stabilizers, and wireless audio systems to film daily coffee processes from planting and harvesting to processing and export logistics.
2. Live Event Coverage
Streamed a series of high-profile government events and stakeholder meetings, including a national symposium on coffee transformation hosted by the Presidency.
Provided multi-camera live feeds, LED screen integration, and sound reinforcement, ensuring a seamless broadcast for thousands of viewers online and offline.
3. Photography
Produced a powerful photo archive showcasing farmer livelihoods, policy rollouts, and project milestones, later used in brochures, reports, and media kits.
Delivered edited, high-resolution images aligned with government branding guidelines and color grading standards.
4. Documentary Development
Developed and scripted a full-length documentary film telling the story of Uganda’s coffee sector:
Featured voices from the grassroots to government.
Included aerial views of plantations, macro shots of coffee beans, and animations highlighting export statistics.
Narrated in both English and local dialects for regional accessibility.
Final film was broadcast on national TV and screened at international forums and trade expos.
5. Post-Production & Multimedia Packaging
Handled all editing, color correction, sound mixing, motion graphics, and subtitling.
