Background
In collaboration with the Office of the President, StreamCast Media was tasked with documenting and showcasing Uganda's strategic initiatives in the coffee sector. The project set out to highlight government interventions, success stories and the wider impact of coffee production on livelihoods and national exports.
We handled the full media production lifecycle: field videography and photography, live coverage of high-level government engagements, and post-production for national broadcast, social media and international presentations.
What we delivered
On-ground production
- Multi-day shoots across major coffee-producing districts including Bushenyi, Kasese, Luwero and Mbale
- Interviews with farmers, exporters, cooperatives and district officials
- 4K cameras, drones, stabilisers and wireless audio to film planting, harvesting, processing and export logistics
Live event coverage
- Streamed high-profile government events and stakeholder meetings, including a national symposium on coffee transformation hosted by the Presidency
- Multi-camera live feeds, LED screen integration and sound reinforcement for thousands of viewers online and in the room
Photography
- A photo archive of farmer livelihoods, policy rollouts and project milestones, later used in brochures, reports and media kits
- Edited high-resolution images aligned with government branding and colour standards
Documentary
- A full-length documentary with voices from the grassroots to government
- Aerial views of plantations, macro shots of coffee beans and animated export statistics
- Narration in English and local languages for regional accessibility
- Broadcast on national TV and screened at international forums and trade expos
Post-production & packaging
- Editing, colour correction, sound mixing, motion graphics and subtitling
- Formats for TV broadcast, web and YouTube, government social media and offline community screenings
